Hi hi!
I've been wanting to blog since last year but din't have the motivation and time to do it so i said "after my A-Levels" la. Then "before i go UK la", then "go UK first la", then last week i say "ok lets blog!", then i open the account but lazy again. So now finally..
I'm in the UK!! For those who do not know yet, I'm currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University Of Bath, UK in BATH. Not like i like to announce to the whole world, but just for those who want to know only, like for my beloved FRIENDS back in Malaysia and those in the UK and AUSSIE LAND.
How am I?
I'm fine here My dear friends! I really love BATH having came here once a month ago while attending my sister's graduation in Bristol. Its really nice here, its not a small place you know, its quite a big town people! Like Subang Jaya i think, minus those country side like those really green fields, really gorgeous! As i'm staying off campus, i gotta take bus to Uni everyday. When i knew bout it i was like WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF? You want me everyday take bus go uni while even at home got dear daddy and mummy to send me also i go late for class? OMG.
But hey! The bus stop is right in front of my accommodation and it comes as frequent as 6 MINUTES!! Yeah, SIX MINUTES. So those people say if your class is at 8am then leave your place as 7.30pm cause it takes only bout 10 to 15 minutes to campus. No hassle at all, real easy!
BUT...
Staying alone is not easy. Gotta cook. Gotta wash. Gotta make up bed. Gotta clean. Gotta vacuum. Gotta laundry. Gotta eat. Gotta study. Gotta sleep. Gotta laugh. All by your-self.
HAIH..
LOL.
AIYO NO LA! I'm not that sad la. I'm like totally cool with staying alone and LEARNING to be independent. After all, studying abroad and living alone is all about learning right? Just the beginning, Jiat!
To be frank I'm totally happy bout my accommodation. Its called John Wood Court! Its very cool!

Basically like everything la!! WhEEE!! Er ok. If you think its not a very happy thing then ok la, sorry for being over-hyper(sushi foo term, lol.)
Yah. In terms of making friends i think i don't have that big problem kua. So far i've made German, Chinese, British(duh!), Indian, Kenyan, Thai, Malaysian, Spanish, Hong Kong(so many of them!), Turkey, Sudan......and lots more i cant think of coz its 12.20am now. lol.
Oh and the place i stay. JWC, is like a accommodation where there is 7 rooms. 4 rooms for people
to stay, 1 huge kitchen and 2 toilets. Not bad eh. My house mates are from London, Turkey and Sudan respectively. But all of them live in the UK so they occasionally goes back home. So fun right, get to go back home, and get to bring like whatever they want, and best of all, pay HOME FEES. 4 times cheaper than us international students. ZZZZZzzzzZZZzzzzz.
OH! And if you are wondering why am i so BLUE up there on that opening picture, its because
I'm now a World Record Holder!
Huh? Wtf am i talking about? This should explain everything :
We, the student Union at the University of Bath are attempting to break the world record for “the most people dressed as Smurfs in one place.” In order to do this we must beat the current World Record which was set by Warwick’s Students’ Union who achieved a number of 451.
So, i decided that I was going to go up for the last night activity of freshers night having miss most of the previous nights. So we had to have blue shirts and white pants and white shoes and white hats and best of all, get our body paint BLUE!!! As in face and hands and legs la. I was struggling to find a white pants until this nice chap borrowed me his! For your information we need to purchase the freshers wrist band for 40 pounds to access all activities on freshers week!
Well of coures i dint buy BUT my very nice house mate went back to London on friday so he decided to gave me his, with that, i gained entry to the sports hall for the smurf world record party! It was real fun meeting people and partying and dancing and drinking(yeah, had too, but just a little for me) up there! I wore shorts and short sleeves, as you can see, and now, I'm having cold. Swt. I know i'm not use to the cold weather but hey, everyone was doing that, many even topless(i mean guys)!
So guess whats the total figure of SMURFS at the party?
1122!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thrashing. Next week will get some cert thingy. Lol.
Sorry for the lack of pictures, its with my other friends and they haven't pass it to me. I have
some but i will do it another day la kay. Tired liao. Just did my laundry. Not that hard actually. I know my post quite random but i will try to organise it properly.
It was hard for me to start posting but give me time, once i get whole of it then i will continue posting, so, support me! As in if i see a lot replies then i sure semangat la right. hehe. Ok la people, so take care and i will try to give my UK number to you all when i get my bank account and get a permanent number and a new HP!
OH. By the way, Bath people are real NICE and FRIENDLY! From the staff to the university to the bus driver and the people walking on the streets! Seriously the staff's are real helpful and pleasant. No joke. Well maybe people in Great Britain are all nice. Maybe.
