1 MONTH before going to UK land!
Er. I know I neglected this space/blog. But pardon me I just got nothing much to update.
This is because holidays for me has been none other than working, eat, exercise, sleep, occasionally out, and now, some football to look forward to. But with the mediocre squad like the current Arsenal's, its nothing much to brag about. So ignore the football part.
Oh yeah and some Olympics. Which has just passed. Well done to China and the organisers of the Beijing Olympic games, its been a truly wonderful sports time and brought much entertainment for 2 weeks.
Oh well and not to mention Singapore trip which yields lots of Cha Bo and booze. I really needed those. Not like I could get any of those in Kuala Lumpur. Next up is Langkawi and, Singapore again. Not bad not bad.
I'm leaving for Bath end of Sept. There we go again. Cold. Study. Pasta. Prison break. Gossip girls(wtf). Bamsa. Oh, and don't forget Emirates stadium =) Should be a good 2nd year with all the fresh challenges. Can can.
Oh, and well my results came out more than a month ago. Not too bad not too bad. But 1st year not counted. ZZZ. And I haven't done much revising on my German and MATLAB. I have to. Cause I know i'm gonna regret if I don't.
So Jiat, please do it. For your own good ok. Good boy. =)
I want to sleep. Bye.

This Summer. Be different. Be very different. Be yourself.
Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. As a result, sufferers of agoraphobia may avoid public and/or unfamiliar places. In severe cases, the sufferer may become confined to their home, experiencing difficulty traveling from this "safe place."

Ssup mahca..apa khabar lu orang? lama tak jumpa, khabar aku pery gut wan, sama dgn lu ma, i hope.
SOrry for lack of updates, mainly coz i got nothing interesting to report about, unlike others. Life now is going smooth, and normal, not to mention lackluster.
Its really good to be back, all the parents and house and all the food, and all the fffriends..err. We will come to that later. Subang Jaya is all well and good as usual, some few development here and there, new inti blocking taylors, pyramid 2 being as gorgeous as before, definitely worth going, and some not so expected events, for now at least.
So 4 months long holiday, "WOW", says majority people, "what are you gonna do for so long?"
"I'm gonna watch euro and play lots of futsal!" says A.
"Oh, I'm gonna shop till i drop!" says B.
"Huh? Shop? Please la, I want to SLEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP" says C.
"SLEEP? You gotta be kidding mate, I gonna get a real gf for the first time ever and pak toh like never before." says one dickhead.
Well none of these apply to me, I am currently working now. Yes, Jiat working. Something different this summer.
"THIS SUMMER, EXPECT SOMETHING DIFFERENT."
"EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED."
"FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION."
"IT IS NOT A CHOICE EITHER."
" THIS SUMMER, EXPECT NOTHING."
Yes I'm currently working in my dad's company, full time trainee. Working hours, 9am-5.30pm. I'm working, for the first time ever. I'm thrilled.
Please don't ask what i do there. No not making coffee, no not Photostatting either, and no not answering phone calls. And lastly, NO, not a manager either.
Oh and well i get paid like all other trainees, a fixed amount of "pocket moneyyy". I do real stuff, like drawings and soldering, and learning sophisticated circuits and various types of control systems, and bout wiring's and electrical components from the control panel you get in power plants, sugar factory to the water pumps at the basement of Pavillion KL. Interesting. This is the real deal.
So some real stuff and first hand experienced for Jiat, I think it will be an invaluable experience for me, it is always good to start from below. Working allows one to meet new people and I've meet quite a number of trainees from around Malaysia, all from local U and 1 from Notts Malaysia. Really good to meet different people and not to mention having fun. Its good its good.
Well lets get back to the stuff I was talking. Before I came back, I have some special ideas, some interesting thoughts, and some glimpse of hope. I had the ideal thoughts in my mind.
Well, so far, its nothing but just a thought. A dream. Lets just say that things hasn't gone as well as I would have liked. But as you will probably be thinking, I would have been a billionaire by now if everything went my way. Same to you.
I've also been rather, say, anti-social lately. Goosh. Me being anti-social? That was the last thing that will come to to my mind. Maybe is the work and all, maybe its the climate, maybe its just the thing. Maybe its just me. Actually, come to think bout it, its not the matter bout lately. Maybe I've always been like this. Some reluctance being part of my personality. Or perhaps I was brought up like this. I don't know. Everything/everyone plays its part and have some say in this.
Well that doesn't mean that I'm unhappy now, that I'm depressed. I'm actually fine with it and getting on with it. Maybe this is good after all? Certainly a long term thing. Maybe thats just how it works. Maybe this is inevitable. Grow up, I'm 20 now omg. We all have to learn to survive alone sometimes, don't we? There will surely be a point in life that we have gotta do some things alone and past some time alone. So be it.
Don't get me wrong, I have a wonderful and caring family at home and many great friends outside. And they would be there if needed. Yeah.
But it certainly not what I expected. Really. And I'm NOT lonely ok. Never will. So take your mind off that now please.
So, 12.15am now. I sleep 12am and wake up 7.30am for weekdays now. No euro 2008 on weekdays for me. See what am I becoming. A man. An old man, sushi may say. But old is wise. And some training for the future never gonna do any harm is it?
Think ahead.
It may well be just the beginning of what will become a great journey.
Hang on and sit tight, Jiat boy.

And so.
The one and only mesmerising town................................... Bath.
==================================================================
5 more days till the end of my 1st year. My oh my, how fast time flies? Felt like I just finish SPM. Felt like Arsenal just went unbeaten. Felt like I never been here. But fact is, I just finish my 1st year degree exams and heading home the next week. =)
And feeling all these never happened.
This is the sort of feeling I would get. Sure, I am very very excited to be home after 5 months. But I just know that everything is going to be the same after a few weeks, after I get back to my normal routine, after I have all the Malaysian delicacies. (screw you bangers and mash and CHIPS!)
Life needs a little more excitement. Indeed. But who knows, it might be different this time. =)
Anyway, Hi there. Its been QUITE a while since my last blog, nothing much has change. Except that I just finish my exams today and resting in my room(after a few weeks in the library) waiting for the non-sober-kuai-lou to call me out. Lol. And the alchohol lovers.
Talking bout exams, yoday went quite well, and hope I did just ENOUGH for the previous ones and allow me to archieve >70% overall. That will be an enormous boast. Certainly I tried very hard.
Hmm. Seems like I have nothing to talk about. All I think now is about home. Oh, and since I am leaving on Monday, I have to pack all my stuff in my room and berhijrah(still remember this word!) to my new place! My new room is twice the size of my current room, so if you all(preferably girls pls) happen to come down here, you know who to find =) Thankfully I have jolly good housemates who is willing to go back to London to get his car to help me move. Well he had to get a car anyway to move his stuff, so might as well right? Kill two stone with 1 bird.
Oh and this is what happens when you spent your whole day in the library:
Lol. Whoever wrote this, I assure you have my respect! That's something I would love to write but would never write. You made my day!
Banyak soalan ah this country. Go play football please. Euro 2008 is coming! Oh sorry I forgot you lot didn't qualify. Oooooppppsss.
Ok that's all I think I can say now. Cl*bbing mood ON now. See you people!
Looking forward to hear:
" Selamat datang ke Kuala Lumpur International Airport, to all visitors, welcome to Kuala Lumpur, and to all Malaysians, WELCOME HOME!" =)
I'm so excited!

What for.
For what?
Why you think I do all these for?
Why do you think I want it?
I am not desperate.
I just want to be fair.
Why.
Integrity is the essence of life.
But who am I to say?
Bullocks.
Why you think I do all these for?
Why do you think I want it?
I am not desperate.
I just want to be fair.

Integrity is the essence of life.
But who am I to say?

God knows number what post and I'm 20!
Well well. And you thought i forgot all about my bubbly blog haven't you? No no. Of course not.
So, 20 years ago 26/04/1988. A boy is born. How special is that boy remains to be seen. But certainly big things is expected from him. And so is every single person who is born.
I'm 20 years old today. First of all thank you for all the lovely people who wished me. Phone calls, MSN, skype and facebook included =) Makes me realise I have a lot of wonderful friends(Who needs facebook to remind them. LOL!) Oh and thank you for some people who TRIED to wish me 1st. It din't really work did it? Nice try. Lol.
Like i always said, well a birthday is just like any other day but surely you HAVE to do something? Its only once a year! Ok then, I will go to some restaurant I haven't tried before. =) Ok birthday is birthday. Now let me talk bout what has happened since my last post and what WILL happen.
So. Final exam is a bad 2 weeks away. And I can say that I'm so NOT prepared for it. This sem is much tougher than last sem, And i need a lil bit over than 70% for this sem to get a 1st Class overall. So I can tell Jiat:" If you still don't use your time now to put in super-human effort, then you only have yourself to blame. Do not be disappointing again. You can't be. You just CAN'T."
Brilliant words to Jiat.
Oh, and 2 weeks away from exams means..............
HOME SWEET HOME! In 5 weeks time that is. Mark your calendar! June 3rd! The Return Of The Malaysian Prodigy(-al?)
So..Last Easter(Mid March) I went to Spain with my College friends. We went at Barcelona and Madrid for about 8 days. It was pure fun and excitement but really, we were all prodigal sons. Spanish food is super expensive, although its nice, but boy we really paid a lot for it. The weather was lovely and the place is superbly beautiful. A few glitches and an unfortunate(but fortunate too?) incident aside, it was a well deserved break for all of us and a really good one. Here are some pictures:

Nou Camp Barcelona(L-R): Jiat, Henry, Poh Shen, Selphie, Lynn, Ronaldinho, Nimalan, Saiful
Mata sepet. Sunny and nice weather in the beautiful Barcelona.
Olympic stadium Barcelona.

Gaudi Island? Oh Gaudi Park.
Above: Estadio Santiago Burnebeu in Madrid!
Sorry I am quite bad with pictures but yeah those are the few I stole from facebook if you haven't already noticed. Pictures courtesy of Sephie and Saiful. Thank you for those splendid pictures! If you would like to see more pictures, please go to my photos on facebook. You probably have since it already coz its like a month ago? Yeah it is. Sorry I'm a lil lagging.
Was at Berlin, Germany last weekend with me lovely parents. Very good to see them again! Nice place berlin. Food cheaper than spain, hotel also good..und auch ich spriechen sehr gut deutsch! =) I am coming home in 5 weeks time!!!!!
Sehr gut essen western im deutschland mit ich eltern! Mummy and Daddy!
The famous Brandenburger Tor im Berlin!
Beautiful City of Berlin from the 390m Berlin TV tower! 2nd tallest tower in europe i think.
So that's about it. Oh and remember bout the asian mix western chick I told you quite some time ago? I always see her now a days! And heard her speak! Got some British accent whey. Very fair and cute! And quite pretty..STEAM whey. But who is she? Whats her name? Is she a first year? Most important of all..is she SINGLE? All this questions remains to be answered and might stay unanswered forever. With a little bit of luck, I hope to know. Some day I will. Believe me.
But my target remains the same =) But don't think is vice-versa thing.
OK then. Phew..done blogging. Took bout 1 hour plus? Wish me luck for my exams people. And for those studying hard for their exams, good luck and don't stress too much..life's short, take it easy! And thankx again for those wonderful and sweet wishes!
Happy 20th Birthday to Jiat! <3

13th Post in the not so Chinese New Year place.
Sorry for my usually-expected hiatus from blogging. Thing is, its Chinese New Year so no offence la right, hehe. First I would like to wish all Chinese and all Malaysians and all Ang Mohs a very Happy Chinese New Year and may we ALL have a super prosperous year ahead. May all the money come come and may all the good results come as well =) Oh and since valentine's day coming, may all the chiqs come as well.(although i've been wishing this for years. oh well)
Well, obviously Chinese New Year here is not as near SUBANGGGGGGGGGGGGG but none the less we had new years eve dinner and chinese new year dinner with a number of fellow malaysians too..and of coures card games on me lovely pool table. Quite chun la play on pool table, like real casino table only. Unfortunately I have no pictures now coz its in someone elses camera. Chill awhile la I will put here if I get it. Don't take my word for it.
Anyhow..the first few days of pre-CNY was really REALLY homesick-ing. And I din't make the situation better by constantly listening to Malaysian radio for the past week. MY FM. Malaysia best chinese radio station. Always playing Chinese New Year songs and those DJ's ah, their chinese so china-man, classic la. All the flash back, BOOM BOOM BOOM. Wah dam beh tahan la. Well for those overseas people, if you think you can handle it, then please go to www.dvrplayer.com register and log in, then all the Malaysian radio stations you can listen till drop! JJ and Rudy's voice can then brighten up your life!(again!)
Oh, and as if all these weren't good enough, my family is now in Langkawi for the past few days, and when I webcam with them, my lovely dad put the laptop on the gambling table with my cousins and relatives and they play cards and count money! wtf. show me those notes summore. knn adi. Here in English land cannot gamble la, chor dai di if lose confirm 70 ringgit gone. Stakes are 7 times more than back home. Cannot man. Well but my dad said the pounds dropped to 6.3. Yah, 6.3! My sis said when she was here few months ago it was 7.1! So stakes much less now, lets shopping!! I already bought a small small present for meself, waiting for it to come. hehe.
Its gonna be FOUR WHOLE MONTHS till I get back for summer holidays, holidays for 3.5months to 4 months. OMG. HEAVEN. I'm counting the days man. So much things awaits me in Malaysia. SO so much. I hope.
Time passes so fast here I just cannot believe it. For example, while we were walking towards the restaurant during CNY, I totally felt like the day before where we were walking towards another restaurant the night before. Because its like after dinner, then play cards, then sleep till 11am, then class 2pm. Then finish class 5pm. Then 7pm walk to dinner again then play cards. OMG. Everyday also something like that, i mean minus the playing cards la.
Talking about time, semester 2 started 2 weeks liao. And its getting really really tough. Sem1 was nothing. Its only been 2 weeks and the amount of stuff that I don't get is, well, quite unbelieveable. Projects are coming fast, and we still havent figure out how and what to do. I have to try and work something this weekend. But not a really big fuss la, just to voice out my concern so that got more urge to catch up before I get left far far behind.
Well, I guess this is it. Oh, and its gonna be this few days or a week or so for those AUSTRALIA people to start their eduacation abroad. New phase of life, and of coures, new excitement and adventure awaits. Just want to wish all the MELBOURNE, SYDNEY, NEWCASTLE, GOLD COAST, UNISA people all the very very best and make full use of the university life you've been blessed. Its gonna be a blast for you all and Happy Chinese New Year to you all again! Although I won't be there to send you guys off, my heart and prayer shall always be with you and make sure yours does too!
p.s. Some insight bout the rat year. Oh and gambling, I miss you like anything I can ever miss.

12th Post in the Bath 2008.
Yes I was back since last Tuesday. Came back early to study for exams. Exams is this week and next week.
Been going to library everyday. Quite rajin for my standards. Today had maths paper. Verdict?
Well considering and did countless past year papers and lots of exercises. Its not bad but not very good either. Could have been better. I mean I have done lots of those integration and complex numbers that would come out. And judging by the past papers you would expect them to repeat a lil bit.
Suddenly. Some tweaks here and there and I was stuck. As in i recognise the pattern but need some time to think coz its quite different then what I've. Well in the end time just would not allow. At least I did half of the parts where I couldn't do. Hope its okay. Curve sketching sux though.
And I came home just now and did that integration again. HOLA. Din't recognise the pattern, could have got that easily. Oh well.
Weather here in Bath, United Kingdom been up and down really. Was bout 7 or 8 degrees when I came back. And it dropped to 2 or 3 few days later. And few days ago -1 or -2 and even snowed that day. And as I type this entry 2am, its 4 degrees. Fairly fine.
So 4 more papers to go before next semester starts. Been feeling a little homesick and lonely to be honest while in my room. But that's what you would expect to feel when you are overseas innit? I can leave with this. Yes I can. That's why we are HERE anyway.
Wonder what is it like back home. I guess everyone is busy meeting up everyone coz everyone going overseas adi. *ahem*Melbourne*ahem*
I think if I'm home also tian tian must go out lol. So being here not that bad after all, can concentrate. Speaking bout going out. The OHM and BUZZ of party boy or clubbing-king of me totally gone liao i think. 10+ weeks I no go night activity in Bath town liao. Dunno whats wrong. Maybe its just not my thing? Maybe its too expensive? Maybe I just want to stay home and study?! Well maybe Jiat is an introvert after all. Anti-social.
Anyway next Thursday night last paper and I promised people that I will break that 10+ week-no-club record. So till then, its some study hard and enjoy the cold weather.
And gossip girls.
Omfg can't believe I just said that.

Study.
Why can't I just be like those people in the picture. I've been trying to study these few days. But like SO unproductive and falling asleep. Can die you know if teruskan like that. Exams 14th Jan onwards so don't ask me why I come back for holidays still must study.
HELP.
I think I must sleep early then next day can concentrate. Come back here always sleep late at night. BAD BAD BAD.
I'm gonna try to hardcore studies TOMORROW. Have to cancel the highly anticipated lunch plans with a long time no see friend. Sorry ya, next week I make sure I see YOU.
Hardcore studies. Say only like I so studious. Productive or not is a mystery like whether sushi foo will remain here in Malaysia when I come back next summer. LOL.
But seriously. I need to study and be more productive.
Best of Luck to anyone who is trying to study too.
Like Miss Thomas say: Got people to cook and wash for you, so must concentrate and make sure you make full use of your advantage!

10th post in Malaysia! (Finally)
AH. Home sweet home. Don't argue that. Quite lazy to update. Been trying to get over jetlag. Slept only 6 hours combined on Monday and Tuesday night. But getting better after some pill my dad gave me. Quite effective. Eat adi after 20mins confirm GONG GONG and KO.com.my. Cool.
Nothing special since arriving here. Those normal stuff u would do if you get home from overseas after A WHILE. Eat local food. Nasi Lemak. Yumcha. Celebrate birthday. SHisha. Tok cock. Laugh. Drive. Speeding. Joke. Badminton. Football. Online. STUDY.
Study. Havent started la. But exams 14th Jan. Have to study la right? Flight suppose to be 10th Jan back. But I've asked my dad to try getting 8th or 9th Jan so that I can go back earlier for study week which begins on the 7th of Jan. Lots of people say you can't study in Malaysia. Hmm..Not sure yet, but try la, isn't the same when SPM or A-Levels we study at home? Matter of want or don't want only right.
Feel quite tired after some long journey, but i must say got SUPER a lot of Malaysians student in the plane that day. LOL. And who says no one come back for Christmas?
Holiday is just the beginning. Will it be better or the fact that exams are near kills off the fun?
p.s. sorry ah my post so lame. mood takda. restless la here, this country so hot.

9th post-notts and pre-HOME in the Bath 2007!

Hie hie hie hie hi Hey hello yo!! Its yet another post from me! Whee! For those who tian tian(everyday) come to check for updates, your hard work finally paid off! Here I am, a BLOG ENTRY! Its very late now, hope its a short one.
Well obviously I'm here to talk bout Nottingham Games 2007 which happened last weekend. Well it was a very very good event to meet people, Malaysian people from all over UK. Gives you the feeling like you are in Malaysia leh. There were lots of event such as futsal, basketball, badminton, netball, hockey(got ah?), volleyball, dll(dan lain-lain). As you can see at the picture above, I played futsal for Bath Malaysian Society and those blue people, or rather people in blue(expect keeper) are my team-mates. Really good footballers they are. Really.
For those curious people back in Malaysia, in Nottingham town, there is a real BIG spacious compound called POWER LEAGUE. And you've guess right, its outdoor futsal court. They have SIXTEEN outdoor futsal court. 16. And you thought sports planet/rio was big? =)
Anyways, there were 60 teams and each split evenly to 12 groups, and ridiculously, only the top teams in each groups qualify to the next phase. Oh and the BEST 4 runner-up, they will see your goal difference and choose la. And i think we manage 3rd in the group. Oh and the rules here is NO ONE can enter the BOX except the keeper, not even defenders or your anyone from your own team.
Although how humiliating it was, I think I have to take some responsibility for our failure to qualify, or giving us the chance to MAYBE qualify. Not like I'm the star player or important player or what la ok. Ok, we won 1, drew 1 and lost 2 games. The 1st game we lost to last year's finalist so well nothing much to complain about. Then we won the 2nd game. I didn't play for the first two games but I started the 3rd game as a defender. But knowing me I like to go upfront to be involved la ok, lol. Surprisingly, I got 2 chances in front of goal, 1 was quite open 1 in front of keeper. Miss those, unsurprisingly...Swt. Apart from that I went back and defended well and 0-0 half time. Then after half time, I decided to stay back more.
THEN.
THEN,
THEN.
During 1 unlucky and unmindful and noob moment, when someone took a shot, I went into the box and clear the ball till fly out dunno where. Just when i thought:" Wah settle la clear so far away..geng leh.." Referee blow whistle and I saw everyone's face DULAN KNN WTF?
"........"
I wasn't suppose to even enter the box.
Penalty.
" Jiat, wtf were you thinking?"
BOOM. GOAL.
1-0 nil down.
The sorhem who gave away the penalty got sub out.
Final score: 1-0.
ZZZZZZzzzz.
Lol. Ya don't laugh. And when I went to ask the organiser, they said it should only be an indirect free kick.
=.=
Then last game. I played 2nd half as striker, 1 moment. In front of goal nobody can touch me and CONFIRM GOAL if I took it 1st time. But I took 2 touches too many.
Final score: 0-0.
HAHA. What an experience. To be honest we should have qualified if wasn't those unlucky circumstances and if we have played together long enough. But the rest of them team was absolutely brilliant! *Claps* We will be ready for next year! Not to win the trophy but as least qualify from the group stage and go further!
Then went to watch badminton and basketball. Badminton was really good I must say, the men's singles was very nice to see. Seems like Malaysian badminton have a very bright future. The winner was a state player for Pahang studying in Birmingham. The boy is really good, as his opponent too. But don't know where the fella from though. They had super net play and good footwork. If i can be half like them good liao. Haha. And basketball. Imperial college. Omfg. Trashing everyone. Well I think coz most of them are experienced basketballers in Malaysia, none the less it was very fun to see Malaysian people playing basketball and competing in an indoor court. Then we went to the Malaysian food galore in some hall on the Nott campus. To my delight, got NASI LEMAK SATAY NASI BERIANI CENDOL ROTI CANAI etccc.. WOOOO. Of coz i try all la. It was really good. Of coures its made my our very own Malaysian or asian people. Met some of PE6-ians as well and some very old friends! Overall a trully memorable event this one. Was knackered at the end of the day coz only had 2 hours of sleep on the way to Notts.
So, this is the last week of the semester. Week 11 of semester. Yeah I have been in Bath for almost 3 months now. Which means I'm going back to NASI LEMAK LAND this Sunday night and arriving on Monday(17th Dec) evening! I have been quite busy this weekend. been going to library to finish report and try to finish all the maths and circuit theory tutorial so that can ask lecturer or post-grad to clear any doubts. The mathematics its really getting tough to handle I must tell you. Its beginning to look not even like in A-Levels, its much tougher than that. Even with the solution sheets its so farking hard to answer those integration and vector questions. Haih. Must keep trying la. So much do all the work and ask by this week.
Ok super late adi. Been sleeping very late last week and week before, bad for health. Take care and there will be 1 more last post before I zoom out of Bath place back to Subang SS19 for some much-anticipated vacation. Eagerly anticipated. Nightz!
p.s. Oh and I'm going to watch my first ever English Premier League match LIVE in the stadium this Saturday in London. Tell you which game is it. Till the next post. =)

8th post-London and pre-notts games in the Bath town.

As most of you all already knew, I went down(or right?) to London last weekend for a break from the peaceful Bath. As i said you just can't stay in Bath for 2 or 3 consecutive weekends without going anywhere(unless you have loads of work), but I have been in Bath for 8 weeks, and last week was the first time I go out of Bath to see the WORLD. Didn't do really much in London but just want to say thank you to some really good friends:
Thank you :
Shu Ching(London people know her as Selphie) for teman-ing me to shop on Saturday and Sunday as well as dinner before i leave AND helping me to choose jacket with poh shen. Got selphie go London sure no boring liao la. =P
Val for including me in her plans for night event at her lovely LSE Uni and introducing me to some real nice people and joining up for dinner the next day. Had real fun that night. Well considering 1 whole month no night fun adi. =D
Kel Jin for inviting me to play badminton with his mates at LSE badminton court. Had another good time too, always knew i could play badminton..haha! But not as geng as him la considering i stop quite long adi. Oh and joining us for dinner as pictured above. We are good friends now! Look forward to meeting you again.
Nimalan for being black black not white as usual and booking the Four Seasons Restaurant and with poh shen teman me to Imperial accommodation and showing me the way home at 3.30am in the morning. You know la London so many bus, if no London people to guide sure sesat.
Poh Shen for also accompanying me shopping and help me to choose a jacket for 45mins lol. Oh and showing me your imperial accommodation too, so high tech and so modern! And playing ping pong 3am with SORHEM NIM who stepped the ping pong ball half way into the game, and it was the last ball. =.=
Well overall it was a nice weekend off in London. Thankx again! Oh and we had really nice food at 4seasons in Bayswater as pictured above. The duck was quite good too. Well its like 60ringgit per person so well thats what you'd expect. See you people in London in 2 weeks time! And thats also when I'm going HOME. Oh and 1 more thing is, while walking back from the train station to my place, I just can't help but appreciate the peaceful and no-busy atmosphere in Bath la, fresh air and no stress. Walk in London everyday ah, can KO la. So many people and bang here and there. See the primark. The people there ah, like never buy things before. lol. For me once a while I go London shopping or see see can adi la, studying in places like Bath and outskirt places still the best la. And come to see Bath University's Sports Training Village la, compared to other Uni, like your house gym compared to True Fitness. Seriously, no exxageration here.
Oh and its Nottingham Games tomorrow(Saturday) and Bath people are leaving freakin 2.30am in the morning. which means 5 hours more. The journey takes 5 hours by bus i think. Crazy right 2.30am in the morning. So London people, 5am quite late adi, don't complain! Looking forward to meet more Malaysians there and play some competitive sports too! For those who do not have a clue bout Nott's Games, its an annual event where the Malaysian Society of Nottingham Uni organises a "Hari Sukan" day for lots of Malaysian from different Uni's in UK to gather round and compete. These includes Football, basketball, netball, badminton, tennis and the list goes on...
Well I snapped some pics of outside my accommodation while doing laundry. Here it is:
Its called John Wood Court. I'm at ground floor. The 5th picture(just above) is the main door to enter the block. then theres another door to enter my unit, then a small corridor, then on the right is my room and on the left is the kitchen, where the window can be seen on the picture. My room window is opposite this building, so you can see it from here. As you can see there are different blocks, and I'm staying KE, there are KA KB KC KD KE KF. And the fourth picture is the laundry room, can meet a lot girls there. LOL.
I wanted to take my room but didn't manage to, next time k. its 11.45pm now. I just came back from badminton. Going to Nott's games at 2.30am. ZZZZ. Must sleep in bus. Weather in Bath is not cold now, like 11 degrees today. But its been raining the past few days almost a week now. Its very chilling although its only 10 degrees.
Studies is fine. Spent 3 hours in the library alone today doing circuit theory and Maths Integration. Integration is getting farking hard. Spent like 1 hour only do 3 questions. Some new stuff and unusual stuff we haven't learned from A-Levels. Its very disturbing and annoying if you cant solve maths question. And then below the Integration work sheet have like 4 or 5 LONG questions. Not those short questions where they ask you to integrate this or that. Then next friday got circuit theory test summore. Tough times.
One more thing. That day in tutorial, after England got knock out off Euro 2008, I suddenly like sang England National Anthem, I mean like doing the HUMMING la, not the lyrics, then my English friend said:" Shut up Jiat, do your work." Then I ask him:" Do you know what I'm singing?" He said NO. Then i asked:" Do you know how to sing your National Anthem?"
Well I was extremely surprise to hear:"You mean God Save The Queen? No." Then I was like WTF OMFG. How come you all don't know? Even I know..! By the way England's National Anthem is called God Save The Queen. Then I shout across the table:" OI Mike! Do you know how to sing your England National Anthem?"
Mike: "You Mean God Save the Queen? Like NO. I know the hymns though."
Jiat:" Wtf? Seriously? You gotta be Joking! But how come those football fans know how?"
Mike:" Well I think they are simply HUMMING when the national anthem is played through the stereo in the stadium. HAHA!"
Then I told the guy next to me that we sing our national anthem every monday during assembly in Malaysia. " Oh you all do? NO SHIT."
See. When we all start opening our mouth to critisise our education policy..Take a moment and think..Just when you thought singing Negaraku was a waste of time..Some people don't even know how to sing their Negaraku. And there we are standing up straight with our hands at the side singing " Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darahku..." every Monday during our school days, showing our Love and respect to our very own Country. Classic. UK students, try ask your kuai lou british friend see they know how to sing all all not, you may be surprise. =)
Another thing. When I ask people wether they going Notts games, they say NO. WHats the reason? "Oh my friends all not going lah." KNN MCB. Go there not just to meet old friends right, go there to MAKE NEW FRIENDS also la. And go there to play sports la, some competitive sports! A lot Malaysians come UK all forgot roots adi la, want to make friends with Kuai Lou and Ang Moh nia, own people all forgot adi. ZZzzz. Knn.
Ok. I need to take a bath and then take a nap, if I can(my housemates on music farking loud, the speakers bigger than your TV) then pack stuff then go to NOTTS. Wish me luck for football or futsal. Time for some Malaysians gathering! Take care people!
p.s. May I just emphasise again, 16 DAYS TO BALIK RUMAH. WOOHOO.

7th and 25 days and counting to go HOME!
(WARNING. LONG POST WITHOUT ANY ILLUSTRATION OR WHAT SO EVER. JUST WORDS.)
20/11/2007.
When i wrote the date for Physics notes today, really can't believe that its been 2 months since I arrived in the Bath place. Which only means 2 things.
That time FLIES. and.
25 days till my flight back HOME. HOMEEEE. Nasi Lemak I'm coming!
Its been a long week for me here. Had 2 reports to do and a presentation last week. Then Maths test yesterday and German assessment today. Oh and did i mentioned that I'm taking German now as an extra unit? Extra 3 credit. Doesn't count in the overall degree though, but its gonna be there and its useful, for whatever plans me and my dad has. =)
Well its not wrong to say that I'm getting bored already here. Academically and non-academically. I mean, of coures you could argue that if I'm bored i could take my time to study. I still does it sometimes, but hey, not every time also i must take book out and read right? I need something else. Like going out to meet friends and hang around. Old friends. I like all my new friends here, but its just a different feeling altogether. Its been 2 months here and most people had gone around UK to visit friends in London, Cambridge, Nottingham, Cardiff etc. But I have not been AWAY from BATH for 2 months. I'm not criticising Bath, its the best place in the world to study and get your certificate. But ask any student who stays here and they can tell you that they will K.O here if singgah here for more than a week if you take away Bath University.
Well talk about entertainment in Bath. Other than football league and basketball occasionally and watching Arsenal games with those really cool Arsenal fans, AND, of coures clubs/pubs, there is nothing much to do here really. Well i suppose i could join all those clubs and go social here and there or go to those night activities on campus. There is a Bath Theatre though, its quite big and I always see lots of people coming out every night after a show. Lots of posters around and looks interesting too. Not sure if its stage play or orchestra. Must try 1 day. I know its very fun but its just not my kind of activities this time around.
If you are surprised. For your info. Jiat have not been to a CLUB for a MONTH liao. YES. 30 DAYS. Ya, I don't know whats going on too. I mean I've lots of invitation but i just seem to find lots of reasons not to go. Like homework, next day got class, tired. Hmmph. Maybe its the money factor. I went around asking my friends in London and other places how much they spent a week. Some say 50, some 30, some 20, and, a good friend in London, said he spent only 10-15pounds a week. OMFG WTF? In London spent so little? Yau mou? Well i spent on average 50 a week. Now without those clubs maybe 40+. But i suppose its inevitable, i need the money for food and stuff. I'm trying to cut down the amount of $$ i spent on food outside, as in keluar makan. If I'm real lazy would go out and buy. But mind you, I wouldn't be afraid to spent for food in Sainsburys or just makan-makan outside.
Is 50pounds a week a lot? If you are leaving in the UK, how much do you spent a week? I mean I don't go shopping to buy clothes and shoes and stuff. The only thing I really shop was some sports stuff like gloves and socks and shin guard and my beg from JJB. Other than that nothing really expensive liao. Means I'm actually not spending that much la right? Why do I just get the feeling that I'm using that much $$. Hmm..
Its been raining here for a few days now, and according to forecast its gonna rain everyday till friday. Temperature is up and down. Last week -1 to bout 6, this week 3 to 8 degrees. Although I claim then I'm British-nised already and those cock and bull stories, I still have to admit that its quite cold especially when its raining. But I still wear a shirt and a jacket and shorts when its 7 or 8 degrees in the afternoon while walking around town. I just like it when those people(especially ANG MOH) who give me the looks like:" What on earth is this Asian boy thinking wearing shorts in this weather? Chi Xin." LOL.
Thats how adventurous i get.
Oh and special mention to those who are taking STPM(mainly Peng Yew Li Teng and Yih Ren and Shern Shern and whoever I dint mention) :
Good Luck and All the best! You done it before and no doubt you can do it again!
Sorry for the late wishes coz I long time no blog and just realised! But better late than never!
Oh and speaking of 2 months not getting out of Bath. Theres a 60% chance I might go down to London this weekend to chill and meet some mates. Let me just check if I have any obligations or circumstances that might halt my visit to Lundun. I just thought of it yesterday and asked mom, she said NO PROBLEM. Wee. Well, so you London people if you read this then please be ready for Jiat. I want the best food and anyone want to follow me for EMIRATES STADIUM TOUR on SATURDAY? 5 pounds only i think? Can get to see their changing room(including those gym place, spa, game room, press conference room etccccc) and directors box and bench and the museum as well! So any London people up for it? As if I have lots of London people reading my Bath-ing blog. Just a matter of interest. Hehe.
Ok. 2.30am now. ZZZzzz. I'm just avoiding the question of my Bath pictures. Sorry I really havent got any decent pictures to post yet. I will take it when I have time.
p.s. sunsets at 4pm here! And just for your info, Nottingham, Loughborough, Birmingham, Warwick etc snowed yesterday. Melanie(a postgraduate) said that it only snowed in January for the last 3 years. Climate change is really ketara now a days. Time for some global warming issues.

6th and Non-toxic week in the Bath place.
So, its been a month or 5 weeks to be more precise since I've left Malaysian-Land to come to the Bath-place to further studies. I'd like to tell you that I'm not missing home at all but NO, I think I'm homesick. YES.
Well as most of you already know, Bath is not a very big town, and don't provide you much entertainment, except night lah, you know what i mean. Yeah I'm saying like compared to busier places like Bristol and London or Manchester or Leeds, where the city is bigger and more developed. And you gets lots of shopping and plays and cinema and EMIRATES STADIUM, in the case of London. And you have lots of friends there too. I'm talking bout Good friends you already knew like years ago, of coures I have new friends here but its just different lah you know? Can chill chill all and talk all the bullshyt and lanku duo duo. And can shopping and watch football. Ok lets not just focus on the advantage of studying in London. I mean Bath is a really nice place to study and good for academic life. Bath University is a campus base Uni, not like all the uni's in London where is scattered around and just not-so-campus-life style. Its just different.
After class you can just go strolling around town alone.(Yes i know sounds sad but hey, its nice you know, can explore explore your town all then next time your friends come can bring them around). To seek peace or calmness or whatever is it to make you feel better after a whole day of tiresome work and lectures. The people and cars and time here are so slow moving, so human-friendly and lets you take a break out of the rat race. While walking you just meet lots of nice people with a smiling mask on their face, children cycling around, different varieties of shops and makan stores. Different type of cars. Old ancient building like the famous Bath Cathedral. Gives you Harry-Potter-eish feels. Then you can just walk by the river and waterfalls to chill and take pictures. And let the cold wind blow pass you. Not hot at all.
Speaking bout cold and low temperature. I think I westernised liao. Or rather kuai-lou-nise. I can just wear shorts and T-shirt outside there without feeling super cold. After football or basketball that is. But many people must wear all the jackets and sweaters. I simply walk out with my beg all and towel also no problem. Cool. Not sure why but maybe my body gives out lots of heat to protect me from the chills.
Well my sporting activities here is basically football, basketball and swimming in 1 week. I play football on Wednesday and Saturday Afternoon. Basketball on Sunday afternoon and swimming on the rest of other days when i feel like too. Judging by my fixed schedule for sports, seems like i settled in pretty well isn't it? Yah but its just so routine over here. I don't want to start complaining coz you might say whose life is not routine, but I feel it just lacks something.
I think i miss my family and friends. A lot. Ok not think, but i really miss them. And i miss MALAYSIA. SS19/SS15/Rio. Lol. Although i still go supper sometimes when my friends just knocked my window, but supper here is what, fries or kebabs or burgers? YES I'm talking bout Mamak here. The longer i stay in British land the more i feel like opening Mamak store in London. Will earn millions innit? Ok don't care bout the ingredients and rental cost and stuff, assuming I got all those settled and its successful. imagine. Whose up for it? Show me some hands!(or comments)
I hate the feeling of losing contact with people back there in KL. I mean. I don't go to my msn contact list to ask everyone how are they right? I don't want to just focus on what i'm doing here, I want to be back there and go out with you all! Theres just too many people i wanna go out with and like hang around..and just to keep up to date! I'm totally in dark now about how are some of my closest friends are doing. I'm sorry I dont do things like call back or sms everytime to ask how are you and stuff. Thank God for my flight on 16th December.

Lol. I know, I've been here for over a month and still no pictures of Bath place or Bath Uni or my Bath-room. Like what kind of blog is this right. I promise pictures will come soon. Sunday is studying day. And i try to go around snapping pictures of the Bath town and the Uni if i go library tomorrow la k. Then my room let me chap a bit before i snap pics. Mind you my room is 1 of the most tidy room in my house. *Proud* You shall see it soon. I will even take pic of the Arsenal pub i always go to watch Arsenal games and places around my area where i always go to la k. Then you can judge whether I'm having fun here or not. Of coures I haven't explore the whole Bath. Quite impossible now. But my house mate promised me to take me around bath with his cool Bike, you know those bike like Racing kind of Bike. Very yeng wan. They must wear special jacket and gloves everytime they ride it. Yah those kind. Then i can snap some pics too. Oh and you even get a big MAC store here and even HOT-AIR BALLOON rides at the park in Bath. Muahaha. Havent tried, see only. Sounds cool.
Well. Arsenal and Man U drew 2-2 today. Arsenal came back from 1-0 and 2-1 to snatch the equaliser on 91st min. And they are top of the table level on points with the Devils but with ONE GAME IN HAND. Classic. If we are still top by Christmas, then the EPL crown will come. I hope. After football at 3pm we went to play football at 4pm till 6pm in Uni with our usual teams. Then went to Nandos for dinner at 9.30pm. THere was fun fare and fireworks in Uni today. But i was too tired to go. Not like i havent seen fireworks before.(remember International Fireworks Competition in Putrajaya?)
So thats about it. I'm very tired now. I don't want to rant bout my studies and work. Thats why Sunday is study day. Which means Sunday is the time to finish all my work and catching up with everything I have left out. But all is fine. Take care people.
*p.s. prince KO status adi. No prince. Now is time to be some nerd. Maybe next week.

Just a 5th no sober week in Bath.
First things first. I'm very very sorry bout what has happened recently. I guess life's like that, people come and go, sometimes without even a hint of leaving. But we all know that this is the time to stay strong and get support. Rest assured, we are always here for you. Take care.

=====================================================================
Just realised its been nine days since i last blog. Dunno is it laziness or ignorant-ness. Maybe a bit of both. Its been a month since I arrived here in Bath and i must say things are settling well here, at home. Its been a normal life for me, though sometimes missing breakfast coz waking up late during early classes, thats normal ya?
Now that lectures and classes are getting harder, i must admit that consistent studying is vital. VITAL. I have to come back to read through what have the lecturer thought in lecture today coz its something that i wont understand immediately. I need to come back to read and understand it myself. If not must go tutorial to ask. So yah, just want to say that things are not as easy as expected by many people. Some smart 3rd year dude told me that to score you need to only do past year paper, coz most lecturers are lazy to set new ques and they just take past year to change the figures. Easy to score high marks isn't it? BUT by doing that you will score but wont learn. Thats the point. We have to really understand those stuff to get through coz its only getting harder in the future, in years to come.
I've been real hamster the last few days. Or last 1 week. I know its not that right but I know how to control it. Its just so different here compared to back home. In UK its just, er, just, LIKE THAT lah. Neither you me or her can explain. Only we all know. We had Malaysian and Singaporean gathering together last week. Was very good meeting a lot of Malaysians and some other asian studying in Bath Uni. We had games and food as well. Oh and I'm in the Malaysian football team playing the Asian League. Sounds exciting. Speaking bout football, i played football with kuai lous and some asians yesterday in the field. It was fcuking 8 degrees and I was wearing shorts and sleeveless shirt to play. Can you freakin imagine how cold was it? But it was a good game. 7 v 7. In the uni field but we made a smaller goal coz other teams training or playing on the pitch. Was a huge football field thats why. And now my legs and thighs and stomach muscles are aching. Long time no football adi, futsal also very long no play. Oh and look what have i just bought from JJB :
Yeah its a Nike bag perfect for sports and shin guard. I bought other stuff too like long football socks, swim goggles, boots studs and the screw for the studs. Total about 38pounds. You wanna convert then you go convert la. I'm not. It may sound expensive but i buy all these all discounted stuff adi. The bag suppose to be 40 pounds but got 50% discount so 20pounds adi, And the shin guard suppose to be 14pounds now discount to 4 pounds! And the socks 3 pairs for 6 pounds, suppose 1 pair 3 pounds! Good deal la i think. I love the bag, do you? Very spacious and can fit lots of stuff, girl also boleh. tsk tsk. Malaysia boleh!
Oh and the above picture was taken by my newwwwwwwwwwwwwww and absolutely gorgeous K850i.
I absolutely love this phone. 5 Megapixel to replace my digital camera(since i dont have one here in uk) and very very cool features! I'm on O2. Go get O2! IPhone dont want harap lah, so expensive and pus*y rates. Bluek.
Oh yah and I finally gotta watch football with some Arsenal fans at the pub nearby my place. It was Arsenal against Slavia Prague in Champions league. Why show Arsenal game? COz the owner of the pub is an Arsenal fan, so he will show Arsenal game if got! SO many Arsenal fans go there to watch live Arsenal games. I was there with a British guy and an Egyptian guy i met during freshers week. Believe it or not they go to Emirates stadium regularly to watch LIVE MATCH OMFG. Cant believe it. They ask me whats my prediction, well not to be over confident, i said 3-0. Another said 4-0. And the other say 5-0. LOL. We were all wrong. It was 7-0. Brilliant. They even bought me a beer at half time. Nice people lah. They gonna call me for every game liao if its live on tv coz they say when i watch we win 7-0. Haha. Football in UK is 12pm or 3pm weekends. So no problem bout staying up late to watch football la right? =D
Ok then. Nothing much to say. Actually got but i lazy liao. Next time again. And oh.
Happy 18th Birthday to sushi FOO SU LYNN triple double. You are the first person to feature in my blog for birthday purpose. SO don't complain =P Take care and good luck in EXAMS. When i come back sure kasi you triple double benjo dengan cheese berlemak macam babi. Lol. You slim adi ma. *tsk tsk* hugs*
K then. Cheers. Signing off. From "big time" clubber Jiat.
p.s. SS19 kings may be pro at maisons and madigrass and JD etc. But in UK, a new prince is born. =P

Only the 4th Shower in the Bath.
Gotcha! That delicious piece of scrumptious food was not my breakfast. Its was my DINNER. =) It was my dinner sometime last week, can't remember which.
First and foremost I want to apologise for my hiatus. Its not that I hate blogging but I don't really have the motivation to sit down here to type. To type something long coz of my cheong-hei-ness syndrome. I always think I got nothing to write or talk about but everytime I sit down here and start typing I wouldn't stop. Or couldn't. So for those who have come here to check out regularly(although i doubt anyone would do that lol).
I'M TERRIBLY SORRY IF I'VE TAKEN 5 MINUTES OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME TO CHECK OUT ON WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME LIFE.

There we go. Relieeeeeeved. So where were we. Ah. Yah that dinner of mine up there were made by me entirely. No buy buy from restaurant or mamak stall or kuai-lou stall. I was at a friend's place the other day playing cards for a while and they were frying/cooking bacon, and I immediately knew whats for dinner the next day! But they ate with mash potato la coz kuai lou right, so I made it even kuai-lou-er by frying bacon and sausages with baked beans and pork sausages cum bread. Although I wouldn't deny that the word pork makes me think bout BKT(Bak Kut Teh in case you noobs dunno what I talking bout, Malaysian arr you?)
Good dinner indeed.
So what has happened since during my last post? Hmm. WELL. Finally I got a taste of what a club is called. I hate to elaborate on that. But I have to say, "drinks and shots" here are not that cheap as expected you know. Well maybe coz its BATH, or maybe coz its UK? But I've been told that it should be cheaper here than Malaysia. Hmm. Maybe only i sorhem go pay this type of money? For those in the UK, do post a comment to quote the whisky or shots or rum you have drank. Don't say you dunno ah, don't bullshyt. Especially those studying/living in Lundun land people. Again, its LONDON if you noobs still don't get it. Oh and those Melbourne readers, contribute also lah k? Tell us how much your so happening-city-with-ample-malaysians sell the drink you have been drinking regularly. =) No offence. I like Melbourne too. So many friends. Lol. Oh and you lucky chaps back in Subang or Malaysia Land also kindly quote. Sushi and Ding and Uncle Ben and A-B-C don't tiam tiam ah. Time to express yourself! tsk tsk.
Classes is going on to as normal. And gathering pace. If i don't start revising I will KO.co.uk. Malaysian style. Did curve sketching last week and the equations they gave for the sketch is I never see before! Got so many types and many asymptotes and curve here and there. I'm good at Maths(k la not bad la) but i S*CKED at CURVE SKETCHING. HELP. But luckily got some kind enough asians and europeans willing to offer me some helping hands so I guess I will pick it up soon. And programming is getting harder as well, always need ask people for guidance or not i can face the pc whole afternoon and only produce a function. =.= But that shouldn't be a problem after I do more exercises. Its just the matter of practising really. Give me more questions to familiarise and I can do it. Surely. Hopefully. Coz everytime we have the programming lecture in the Uni Hall, got 300+ students as we are joined by 2nd year Mechanical Engineering students. The lecturer stand infront with the slide and explain all those examples. HELLO. I know you doing your job to teach us how to use but you can't just show us without us TRYING it first hand right? Its like giving a laptop to 90 year-old apek and ask him to blog right. Thankfully for the 3 hours of programming on Monday.
Well speaking bout exercise. I'm deprived of futsal. Yes i know I've boast about Bath Uni Sports Complex got 2 indoor and 2 outdoor futsal court free for us to use but TAKDA KAKI mar, AN JUA play? Solo run meh. I've been going swimming only and recently played basketball with some malaysians and chinese student at the indoor court! REALLY beautiful those indoor basketball courts. Got 2 and they are like NBA style. No need to go out and SAI TAI YANG or worried bout raining or worried bout uneven floor. Best. I gave them my number and the china people said they will tell me if they playing again. Cool cool. Thankx. Swimming is nice you know. The pool is world class coz olympic people(contestants?participants?athelics?) come here to train. Its a 50M pool. So i always swim 10 laps. Which makes Half a KILOMETER. Wah. Hows that? Geng leh. Lol. I know sounds little bout tiring lah you know. And 2 lanes of 8 only open for us coz always got training and stuff. Oh ya, and their changing room is Bath bersama-sama wan. NO. Not boy and girl. Boy and boy nia. So i always hide mine and shower with my speedo ON and then balik rumah baru mandi. Not somehting you would expect from me leh? Haha. Perverts. Not me.
So Malaysian night is coming. This week Wednesday. Lets go meet all the Malaysians here. I barely come here for a month and now I LOL adi. Lack of L_ V_? I wanna meet more people lah. Must meet and meet and meet till I know a lot!! Then can choose. lol. Choose what? Wait for people to choose also la. Oh yah I was chatting with this guy from Denmark and a few chinese and they were so fascinated bout our LAH and WAN when we speak back there in Malaysia. Coz a Malaysian guy came to speal with me in class and after that the Danish guy and chinese girl went like DID YOU ALL JUST SPOKE A FOREIGN LANGUAGE? COZ I COUNLDN'T UNDERSTAND A THING. Lol. And so i taught them how to use LAH and WAN. Best la. Just a thought: Since we always get WESTERNISED, why not we ASIAN-ISED or rather MALAYSIA-NISED them instead?
