8th post-London and pre-notts games in the Bath town.

As most of you all already knew, I went down(or right?) to London last weekend for a break from the peaceful Bath. As i said you just can't stay in Bath for 2 or 3 consecutive weekends without going anywhere(unless you have loads of work), but I have been in Bath for 8 weeks, and last week was the first time I go out of Bath to see the WORLD. Didn't do really much in London but just want to say thank you to some really good friends:

Thank you :

Shu Ching(London people know her as Selphie) for teman-ing me to shop on Saturday and Sunday as well as dinner before i leave AND helping me to choose jacket with poh shen. Got selphie go London sure no boring liao la. =P

Val for including me in her plans for night event at her lovely LSE Uni and introducing me to some real nice people and joining up for dinner the next day. Had real fun that night. Well considering 1 whole month no night fun adi. =D

Kel Jin for inviting me to play badminton with his mates at LSE badminton court. Had another good time too, always knew i could play badminton..haha! But not as geng as him la considering i stop quite long adi. Oh and joining us for dinner as pictured above. We are good friends now! Look forward to meeting you again.

Nimalan for being black black not white as usual and booking the Four Seasons Restaurant and with poh shen teman me to Imperial accommodation and showing me the way home at 3.30am in the morning. You know la London so many bus, if no London people to guide sure sesat.

Poh Shen for also accompanying me shopping and help me to choose a jacket for 45mins lol. Oh and showing me your imperial accommodation too, so high tech and so modern! And playing ping pong 3am with SORHEM NIM who stepped the ping pong ball half way into the game, and it was the last ball. =.=

Well overall it was a nice weekend off in London. Thankx again! Oh and we had really nice food at 4seasons in Bayswater as pictured above. The duck was quite good too. Well its like 60ringgit per person so well thats what you'd expect. See you people in London in 2 weeks time! And thats also when I'm going HOME. Oh and 1 more thing is, while walking back from the train station to my place, I just can't help but appreciate the peaceful and no-busy atmosphere in Bath la, fresh air and no stress. Walk in London everyday ah, can KO la. So many people and bang here and there. See the primark. The people there ah, like never buy things before. lol. For me once a while I go London shopping or see see can adi la, studying in places like Bath and outskirt places still the best la. And come to see Bath University's Sports Training Village la, compared to other Uni, like your house gym compared to True Fitness. Seriously, no exxageration here.

Oh and its Nottingham Games tomorrow(Saturday) and Bath people are leaving freakin 2.30am in the morning. which means 5 hours more. The journey takes 5 hours by bus i think. Crazy right 2.30am in the morning. So London people, 5am quite late adi, don't complain! Looking forward to meet more Malaysians there and play some competitive sports too! For those who do not have a clue bout Nott's Games, its an annual event where the Malaysian Society of Nottingham Uni organises a "Hari Sukan" day for lots of Malaysian from different Uni's in UK to gather round and compete. These includes Football, basketball, netball, badminton, tennis and the list goes on...

Well I snapped some pics of outside my accommodation while doing laundry. Here it is:

Its called John Wood Court. I'm at ground floor. The 5th picture(just above) is the main door to enter the block. then theres another door to enter my unit, then a small corridor, then on the right is my room and on the left is the kitchen, where the window can be seen on the picture. My room window is opposite this building, so you can see it from here. As you can see there are different blocks, and I'm staying KE, there are KA KB KC KD KE KF. And the fourth picture is the laundry room, can meet a lot girls there. LOL.

I wanted to take my room but didn't manage to, next time k. its 11.45pm now. I just came back from badminton. Going to Nott's games at 2.30am. ZZZZ. Must sleep in bus. Weather in Bath is not cold now, like 11 degrees today. But its been raining the past few days almost a week now. Its very chilling although its only 10 degrees.

Studies is fine. Spent 3 hours in the library alone today doing circuit theory and Maths Integration. Integration is getting farking hard. Spent like 1 hour only do 3 questions. Some new stuff and unusual stuff we haven't learned from A-Levels. Its very disturbing and annoying if you cant solve maths question. And then below the Integration work sheet have like 4 or 5 LONG questions. Not those short questions where they ask you to integrate this or that. Then next friday got circuit theory test summore. Tough times.

One more thing. That day in tutorial, after England got knock out off Euro 2008, I suddenly like sang England National Anthem, I mean like doing the HUMMING la, not the lyrics, then my English friend said:" Shut up Jiat, do your work." Then I ask him:" Do you know what I'm singing?" He said NO. Then i asked:" Do you know how to sing your National Anthem?"

Well I was extremely surprise to hear:"You mean God Save The Queen? No." Then I was like WTF OMFG. How come you all don't know? Even I know..! By the way England's National Anthem is called God Save The Queen. Then I shout across the table:" OI Mike! Do you know how to sing your England National Anthem?"

Mike: "You Mean God Save the Queen? Like NO. I know the hymns though."

Jiat:" Wtf? Seriously? You gotta be Joking! But how come those football fans know how?"

Mike:" Well I think they are simply HUMMING when the national anthem is played through the stereo in the stadium. HAHA!"

Then I told the guy next to me that we sing our national anthem every monday during assembly in Malaysia. " Oh you all do? NO SHIT."

See. When we all start opening our mouth to critisise our education policy..Take a moment and think..Just when you thought singing Negaraku was a waste of time..Some people don't even know how to sing their Negaraku. And there we are standing up straight with our hands at the side singing " Negaraku, tanah tumpahnya darahku..." every Monday during our school days, showing our Love and respect to our very own Country. Classic. UK students, try ask your kuai lou british friend see they know how to sing all all not, you may be surprise. =)

Another thing. When I ask people wether they going Notts games, they say NO. WHats the reason? "Oh my friends all not going lah." KNN MCB. Go there not just to meet old friends right, go there to MAKE NEW FRIENDS also la. And go there to play sports la, some competitive sports! A lot Malaysians come UK all forgot roots adi la, want to make friends with Kuai Lou and Ang Moh nia, own people all forgot adi. ZZzzz. Knn.

Ok. I need to take a bath and then take a nap, if I can(my housemates on music farking loud, the speakers bigger than your TV) then pack stuff then go to NOTTS. Wish me luck for football or futsal. Time for some Malaysians gathering! Take care people!

p.s. May I just emphasise again, 16 DAYS TO BALIK RUMAH. WOOHOO.
