Just a 5th no sober week in Bath.

First things first. I'm very very sorry bout what has happened recently. I guess life's like that, people come and go, sometimes without even a hint of leaving. But we all know that this is the time to stay strong and get support. Rest assured, we are always here for you. Take care.

Just realised its been nine days since i last blog. Dunno is it laziness or ignorant-ness. Maybe a bit of both. Its been a month since I arrived here in Bath and i must say things are settling well here, at home. Its been a normal life for me, though sometimes missing breakfast coz waking up late during early classes, thats normal ya?

Now that lectures and classes are getting harder, i must admit that consistent studying is vital. VITAL. I have to come back to read through what have the lecturer thought in lecture today coz its something that i wont understand immediately. I need to come back to read and understand it myself. If not must go tutorial to ask. So yah, just want to say that things are not as easy as expected by many people. Some smart 3rd year dude told me that to score you need to only do past year paper, coz most lecturers are lazy to set new ques and they just take past year to change the figures. Easy to score high marks isn't it? BUT by doing that you will score but wont learn. Thats the point. We have to really understand those stuff to get through coz its only getting harder in the future, in years to come.

I've been real hamster the last few days. Or last 1 week. I know its not that right but I know how to control it. Its just so different here compared to back home. In UK its just, er, just, LIKE THAT lah. Neither you me or her can explain. Only we all know. We had Malaysian and Singaporean gathering together last week. Was very good meeting a lot of Malaysians and some other asian studying in Bath Uni. We had games and food as well. Oh and I'm in the Malaysian football team playing the Asian League. Sounds exciting. Speaking bout football, i played football with kuai lous and some asians yesterday in the field. It was fcuking 8 degrees and I was wearing shorts and sleeveless shirt to play. Can you freakin imagine how cold was it? But it was a good game. 7 v 7. In the uni field but we made a smaller goal coz other teams training or playing on the pitch. Was a huge football field thats why. And now my legs and thighs and stomach muscles are aching. Long time no football adi, futsal also very long no play. Oh and look what have i just bought from JJB :

Yeah its a Nike bag perfect for sports and shin guard. I bought other stuff too like long football socks, swim goggles, boots studs and the screw for the studs. Total about 38pounds. You wanna convert then you go convert la. I'm not. It may sound expensive but i buy all these all discounted stuff adi. The bag suppose to be 40 pounds but got 50% discount so 20pounds adi, And the shin guard suppose to be 14pounds now discount to 4 pounds! And the socks 3 pairs for 6 pounds, suppose 1 pair 3 pounds! Good deal la i think. I love the bag, do you? Very spacious and can fit lots of stuff, girl also boleh. tsk tsk. Malaysia boleh!

I absolutely love this phone. 5 Megapixel to replace my digital camera(since i dont have one here in uk) and very very cool features! I'm on O2. Go get O2! IPhone dont want harap lah, so expensive and pus*y rates. Bluek.

Oh yah and I finally gotta watch football with some Arsenal fans at the pub nearby my place. It was Arsenal against Slavia Prague in Champions league. Why show Arsenal game? COz the owner of the pub is an Arsenal fan, so he will show Arsenal game if got! SO many Arsenal fans go there to watch live Arsenal games. I was there with a British guy and an Egyptian guy i met during freshers week. Believe it or not they go to Emirates stadium regularly to watch LIVE MATCH OMFG. Cant believe it. They ask me whats my prediction, well not to be over confident, i said 3-0. Another said 4-0. And the other say 5-0. LOL. We were all wrong. It was 7-0. Brilliant. They even bought me a beer at half time. Nice people lah. They gonna call me for every game liao if its live on tv coz they say when i watch we win 7-0. Haha. Football in UK is 12pm or 3pm weekends. So no problem bout staying up late to watch football la right? =D

Ok then. Nothing much to say. Actually got but i lazy liao. Next time again. And oh.

Only the 4th Shower in the Bath.

Gotcha! That delicious piece of scrumptious food was not my breakfast. Its was my DINNER. =) It was my dinner sometime last week, can't remember which.

First and foremost I want to apologise for my hiatus. Its not that I hate blogging but I don't really have the motivation to sit down here to type. To type something long coz of my cheong-hei-ness syndrome. I always think I got nothing to write or talk about but everytime I sit down here and start typing I wouldn't stop. Or couldn't. So for those who have come here to check out regularly(although i doubt anyone would do that lol).

I'M TERRIBLY SORRY IF I'VE TAKEN 5 MINUTES OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME TO CHECK OUT ON WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME LIFE.

There we go. Relieeeeeeved. So where were we. Ah. Yah that dinner of mine up there were made by me entirely. No buy buy from restaurant or mamak stall or kuai-lou stall. I was at a friend's place the other day playing cards for a while and they were frying/cooking bacon, and I immediately knew whats for dinner the next day! But they ate with mash potato la coz kuai lou right, so I made it even kuai-lou-er by frying bacon and sausages with baked beans and pork sausages cum bread. Although I wouldn't deny that the word pork makes me think bout BKT(Bak Kut Teh in case you noobs dunno what I talking bout, Malaysian arr you?)

Good dinner indeed.

So what has happened since during my last post? Hmm. WELL. Finally I got a taste of what a club is called. I hate to elaborate on that. But I have to say, "drinks and shots" here are not that cheap as expected you know. Well maybe coz its BATH, or maybe coz its UK? But I've been told that it should be cheaper here than Malaysia. Hmm. Maybe only i sorhem go pay this type of money? For those in the UK, do post a comment to quote the whisky or shots or rum you have drank. Don't say you dunno ah, don't bullshyt. Especially those studying/living in Lundun land people. Again, its LONDON if you noobs still don't get it. Oh and those Melbourne readers, contribute also lah k? Tell us how much your so happening-city-with-ample-malaysians sell the drink you have been drinking regularly. =) No offence. I like Melbourne too. So many friends. Lol. Oh and you lucky chaps back in Subang or Malaysia Land also kindly quote. Sushi and Ding and Uncle Ben and A-B-C don't tiam tiam ah. Time to express yourself! tsk tsk.

Classes is going on to as normal. And gathering pace. If i don't start revising I will KO.co.uk. Malaysian style. Did curve sketching last week and the equations they gave for the sketch is I never see before! Got so many types and many asymptotes and curve here and there. I'm good at Maths(k la not bad la) but i S*CKED at CURVE SKETCHING. HELP. But luckily got some kind enough asians and europeans willing to offer me some helping hands so I guess I will pick it up soon. And programming is getting harder as well, always need ask people for guidance or not i can face the pc whole afternoon and only produce a function. =.= But that shouldn't be a problem after I do more exercises. Its just the matter of practising really. Give me more questions to familiarise and I can do it. Surely. Hopefully. Coz everytime we have the programming lecture in the Uni Hall, got 300+ students as we are joined by 2nd year Mechanical Engineering students. The lecturer stand infront with the slide and explain all those examples. HELLO. I know you doing your job to teach us how to use but you can't just show us without us TRYING it first hand right? Its like giving a laptop to 90 year-old apek and ask him to blog right. Thankfully for the 3 hours of programming on Monday.

Well speaking bout exercise. I'm deprived of futsal. Yes i know I've boast about Bath Uni Sports Complex got 2 indoor and 2 outdoor futsal court free for us to use but TAKDA KAKI mar, AN JUA play? Solo run meh. I've been going swimming only and recently played basketball with some malaysians and chinese student at the indoor court! REALLY beautiful those indoor basketball courts. Got 2 and they are like NBA style. No need to go out and SAI TAI YANG or worried bout raining or worried bout uneven floor. Best. I gave them my number and the china people said they will tell me if they playing again. Cool cool. Thankx. Swimming is nice you know. The pool is world class coz olympic people(contestants?participants?athelics?) come here to train. Its a 50M pool. So i always swim 10 laps. Which makes Half a KILOMETER. Wah. Hows that? Geng leh. Lol. I know sounds little bout tiring lah you know. And 2 lanes of 8 only open for us coz always got training and stuff. Oh ya, and their changing room is Bath bersama-sama wan. NO. Not boy and girl. Boy and boy nia. So i always hide mine and shower with my speedo ON and then balik rumah baru mandi. Not somehting you would expect from me leh? Haha. Perverts. Not me.

So Malaysian night is coming. This week Wednesday. Lets go meet all the Malaysians here. I barely come here for a month and now I LOL adi. Lack of L_ V_? I wanna meet more people lah. Must meet and meet and meet till I know a lot!! Then can choose. lol. Choose what? Wait for people to choose also la. Oh yah I was chatting with this guy from Denmark and a few chinese and they were so fascinated bout our LAH and WAN when we speak back there in Malaysia. Coz a Malaysian guy came to speal with me in class and after that the Danish guy and chinese girl went like DID YOU ALL JUST SPOKE A FOREIGN LANGUAGE? COZ I COUNLDN'T UNDERSTAND A THING. Lol. And so i taught them how to use LAH and WAN. Best la. Just a thought: Since we always get WESTERNISED, why not we ASIAN-ISED or rather MALAYSIA-NISED them instead?

See what i meant. I type 1 hour liao. Now 12am adi. Thats why I scard to write a post la. But i really like to. K la I will try to cut chort next time K.

So thats it. O2 rejected my contract for a 18-month contract mobile phone coz I never meet tehir credit criteria shyt. I'm gonna KNN them at the mobile store tomorrow liao. Till next time, dahlings.

3rd Shower in the Bath-life.

No, Its not from McDonalds or Burger King(if its obvious to you then cheers). Its McJiat and Double Whooper Cheese Bath. I made it on my own and that was my dinner for friday night. Just buy 4 pieces of beef meet from Sainsbury which is 1.40 quid then burger bread for 1.20 quid and add some cheese and mayonnaise and ketchup and there we have it, my dinner.

So i made it here, I want to sleep early but didn't i promise to post? So here i am. Life has been normal for me this weekend. Nothing interesting or special happened. While students were partying and drinking I was at the ICIA( Institute of Comtemporary Interdisciplinary Arts)Theatre to watch a play title Ruthless(sounds familiar?lol) by a group a talented students from Bath Uni. Not bad for a 5pounds play, very entertaining. Good voice too. Not gonna elaborate on that. See this for more information. Went for some kebab while waiting for the bus, 4pounds. Glurp. But its big portion la. There was a party going on and I saw guys and girls dressing like students. As in STUDENTS from the west, like....

Yeah the girl in the pic is our very own "pop princess". Was. I mean used too. Yeah and so they were all dressed similar to Miss Spears. Lol. So how? See la. Haha. I think the theme of the party must have been Student Attire, obviously. If i brought my SMK Subang Utama uniform then i might just as well drop by la right? But then i would feel entirely out of place wouldn't I? Boy. If only Hishammudin would listen to our cadangan.

Then they had a beach party last night on campus, where we are only allow to wear speedos and bikinis. Imagine how hot would we feel there at night?

But then we decided to walk down from campus to our friends place to chill for a while, well, a while was quite late, err, prefer not to mention any time, in case something la right, lol. Not that late la, then walked a friend home coz the accomodation was quite far. so altogether 1 hour walk i think. Quite long ah, good exercise. It took us about 20minutes to walk down to the foot of the hill, from there you could see the beauty of Bath town coz of the glittering lights and stuff, like how you see KL while driving down from Genting? Yeah like that. So beautiful. Unfortunately i couldn't take any pics for you all coz i don't have a good camera, yet. Speaking of camera. I'm gonna get something soon, then can take very nice pictures liao. Show you in the next post la k?(fingers crossed!) Oh and i will take pics of Bath and the place I'm staying just to let you know in case you are unaware of how much i miss Subang Jaya. Lol. With all due respect to Bath, i can't stop thinking of mamak and Nasi Lemak.

I'm coming to the beginning of my 3rd week and I'm already getting bored of the food here. Well you might argue that I'm just lazy to do my own cooking, which isn't the worst lie in the world, but seriously, tian tian bread or cereals or meat, not sien meh. K la I'm too lazy to cook. But when you are hungry at night and want to hang out with your friends and be cool, where do you go here? SEE what i mean. Thank God for my air ticket back in December. Mid-December to be more precise. YES.

Cooking is not the hardest part, its the washing. I hate washing frying pans and plates. Oily and the water in UK is. Is. Theres 2 taps here. 1 HOT, 1 COLD. 1 EXTREME hot. 1 EXTREME cold. Genius. Which one would you choose? Everytime after washing must defrost your hand. Quite swt case right? See, be grateful to your toilet at home.

Classes are moving on to the 2nd week tomorrow. It all starts now. Gotta concentrate in class and do revision. Constant revision. I mean who doesn't know that? I've been telling myself that all my life, time to love myself. Time to love ourself. To those people who think life's hard here in UK, be strong and stand up. Be yourself. Everyone is going through the same thing, so lets do this together. Although we come here to get the coveted degree, lets enjoy ourself alright? They say University life is the best time in your life. Are they right?

I'm getting homesick real soon. Time passes so fast here. Morning make breakfast, change, go uni lecture, lunch, lecture again, come back rest, make dinner, do homework/study, online, sleep. Its a routine. Do that everyday and time will fly without you or me realising it.

So tell me, what to do when you are homesick? Look at all your pictures on your laptop? Call your friends back home? Or just try to be happy and distract yourself with something, like, online?

Its 1.15am. Classes at 9.15am. Good night people. I'm happy that i had an incentive to type. Took 30minutes of my sleep. See what i have to give up for a post? Guess its worth it. Where else to shout out than here right. Nights dear friends. =)

2nd Shower in the Bath-Class.

YES! I made it to the 2nd post!


Well to keep things simple, classes started yesterday. Was THREE MINUTES away from being late. Ok la come overseas must optimistic a bit, I WAS THREE MINUTES EARLY! Hooray!!!

Nothing new really, just like go college. Just that have to wake up early to brush teeth and make bed and make breakfast and wash plates and change and comb hair and wear sweater/jumper then look at the mirror then put perfume(colone?cologne?) then lock doors then go to nearby bus stop to wait for orange bus. Oh, that wasn't just like going back to college. Ok i take my words back.

ITS TOTALLY different from going college. Here got cooling weather though. Ideal weather for humans now. A bit hotter then perfect liao la.

Oh then at night i COOKED my 1st MEAL/DINNER! Those who seen my nick last night knows liao la right. K la i cook not exactly cook la, got use frying pan la. I know the first thing that comes to your mind is i cook friend egg right? Knnmcbccbpkm.

Dam bad la you people. Alwiz think i dunno how to cook. Hmmph.



































K la you all correct actually. Well done. I DID fried an egg but i also got warm up the Curry Chicken from TIN and cook my 1st rice. Very good rice!! Very nice!





See! Looks like the rice you eat at home right??so proud. lol. i not sure how many cups of rice should i pour and not sure how much water to put, so i agak agak lor. Proved that my estimation skills quite good! Way to go boy! Big boy liao! =D

K la not late la but i went in 5 mins later. I mean. Classes about to start la, so means not late for lecture right? =D



I did almost doze out in class for few times. Coz most of the stuff from A-Levels..not that its easy, but learn before adi ma. But i got concentrate la so dont worry mate. Programming was fun though. The lab all use SONY LCD MONITOR whey. wtf. The programming was quite confusing but still ok la, something new.



Oh just now while i was walking around town, 1 guy dropped his coin. He find find so long but cannot find so i kasi go help him. Then i spotted a shining thingy on the floor, so i happily+kindly say:" Hey MATE, theres your coin! =D "



Waiting for a THANK YOU, instead..



He turned and look at the floor then look at me.



" Its only a PENNY MATE. "

Penny not money ah? RM0.07 ok. ZZZZZzzzz. K la if i drop my 1 cent in Malaysia also i will kasi dun care la so nothing fuzzy bout that.



K la. Nothing else i guess. Need to eat veggie, dun like to cook veggie la me. Like so hard only. So i went to sainsbury buy some cabbage adi wash liao. So easy la this departmental store, got so many ready made food. Best.



Oh and last week i went to register for my HSBC account. And they said wait for a week or 2. So today they sent a letter to me!



" Thank you for your time for applying a HSBC international student account. But unfortunately you have given us insufficient details about your home, so we are unable to complete your application. Please go online and register again."

So i took all the documents and passport to the HSBC bank and a very nice lady came for my aid. After 20 minutes..

K810i come to me! Can apply contract for this phone liao. The main reason i want this phone is coz the camera function super good and i don't have a camera here in UK! My DSLR collecting dust at home =( I will be back dear. Dear Nikon D70s.

OH. YES. Finally done. i better stop here or else i got more stuff to write and take up more time. Till next time people. And OH! I joined up for tennis training classes. Lol. Bath Uni sports centre got 8 indoor world class tennis court. So many chiqs playing. Nice to see. I mean i like to play also la coz i always watch FedEx Play. So. This sunday start class. They ask me want to join Basketball Try out for Uni Team. Guess what.

I say No la sure. lol. Next year la. They all so big size. But i will join the club and play with them. We have 2 indoor courts. So see how it goes la.
